Why do we sell wristbands?
There are a few reasons. This helps to identify who is 21 years and older. This also helps pay for the event. The money helps to fund next year's event, and is rolled over to each following year. Your contribution helps make this event possible.
Where do we park?
As with most large events, parking can be somewhat of a challenge. We encourage you to find parking downtown and use our trail systems to walk to the event if possible. Please park on side streets and remember parking is prohibited on sections of Broadway, 3rd St E, 3rd St. W, Main St E, and Main St W. SW Transit is offering free shuttle service on Saturday from 6pm-10pm. Click the blue button on the home page for routes.
What if it rains?
This is a rain or shine event. Our bands will play as long as they can. You can always bring your party into one of the local bars/restaurants or join us under the Lions Beer Tent to stay dry.
Where are the garage sales located?
Due to a growing Carver and using our volunteer resources wisely, we will no longer be logging addresses for the garage sales. Please get your signs out to help promote your sale. We list the overall sale in our advertising as Thursday - Saturday. Happy selling!
Where are some of the events located?
The water fights are at the end of Broadway on the intersection with Main St.
MN Marketplace is located on Broadway in front of the Dog House.
The Car Show is located on Main St E and Main St W, check-in on the corner by Lisa's Place.
How do I participate in the Medallion Hunt?
Clues will be posted on the Carver Lions FB page. The first clue will be posted at 5:30pm, with subsequent clues uploaded every 1/2 hour, until found. Clues are also located on the hunt from location to location. Please leave clues in place for others to enjoy. Get ahead of the rest and claim your medallion prize at the Carver Lions beer stand.
Where do we view the fireworks?
The fireworks are lit off at Riverside Park which is closed to the public. Please maintain a safe distance. Fireworks can be seen from the main event area on Broadway.
